Area Sales Manager For FMCG Company in Gurugram,Faridabad,Delhi
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue
targets within the assigned area, with a focus on expanding the market for tea products.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to
ensure they meet individual and team sales goals.
Market Expansion: Identify and explore new business opportunities, including potential
retailers, distributors, and strategic partnerships in your region.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key
customers, distributors, and retail partners to ensure long-term partnerships.
Sales Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to
management on market trends, competition, and performance metrics.
Promotions & Activations: Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute
in-store promotions, product launches, and merchandising strategies.
Route-to-Market Optimization: Ensure efficient distribution and availability of
products by optimizing the supply chain and ensuring timely deliveries to retail outlets.
Budget Management: Manage area sales budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations
while maximizing sales performance.
Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about competitor products, pricing strategies, and
market activity, providing insights and recommendations for adjusting sales approaches.
Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to
enhance their skills and product knowledge.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry (experience in tea,
spices & detergent sector is highly preferred).
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving market expansion.
