Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled professional with strong Japanese reading and writing
capabilities to support research-driven report creation in Japanese. The role involves
secondary research, database-driven analysis, translation, and preparation of high-
quality Japanese-language reports, preferably with exposure to financial and
business terminology.
Key Responsibilities
ï‚· Prepare research reports directly in Japanese, based on secondary
research and database sources
ï‚· Conduct desk research using industry databases, public filings, company
reports, and paid data sources
ï‚· Analyze and synthesize information into clear, structured, and client-ready
Japanese reports
 Translate documents between Japanese ↔ English (and/or Japanese ↔
Hindi, if required), ensuring contextual and terminological accuracy
ï‚· Apply financial and business terminology while drafting reports,
summaries, and presentations
ï‚· Support internal teams with Japanese-language content, including research
notes, executive summaries, and presentations
ï‚· Coordinate with analysts and consultants to ensure accuracy, consistency,
and timely delivery
ï‚· Maintain high standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and

Required Skill Set
ï‚· Japanese language proficiency:
o Strong reading and writing skills
o JLPT N2 (mandatory); N1 is an added advantage
ï‚· Report writing skills, especially based on secondary research and
databases
ï‚· Awareness or experience in financial terminology (corporate finance, market
analysis, industry metrics preferred)
ï‚· Translation experience (business, financial, or research content preferred)
ï‚· Strong command of MS Office:
o MS Word (structured reports)
o MS PowerPoint (presentations)
o MS Excel (basic analysis, tables, and data handling)
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Japanese Language, or
related fields
 1–3 years of experience in research, consulting, financial analysis, or
translation roles
ï‚· Prior experience working with Japanese clients or Japan-focused projects
is a plus
ï‚· Familiarity with market research databases and secondary research
methodologies
ï‚· Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
