Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Head - Solar Business to lead the overall solar business strategy, revenue, profitability, sales, distribution and market expansion. The candidate will report directly to the Promoter/CEO and should be comfortable working with data-driven and analytical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive overall business strategy, revenue, profitability and market share.
Develop and expand dealer, distributor, EPC and institutional networks across India.
Lead solar module sales, channel development and government/institutional business.
Develop business through PM-KUSUM, rooftop solar schemes and government tenders.
Build and manage high-performing sales teams and achieve sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, module prices and industry developments.
Manage key relationships with EPCs, distributors, developers, PSUs and government agencies.
Drive pricing, margins, commercial negotiations and major supply contracts.
Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, finance and customer service teams.
Strengthen overall brand positioning and market presence.
Candidate Profile:
15-20+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Solar PV / Renewable Energy.
Strong experience in solar module sales, distribution, business development and channel management.
Proven experience handling sizeable solar module/panel business with P&L responsibility preferred.
Strong understanding of Solar PV industry, EPC ecosystem, government schemes and tenders.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/PGDM will be an advantage.
